The Story Isn't Over Inc. is a group private practice of psychotherapists and counsellors. It was established in 2019, and has three locations: Bolton, Brampton and Caledon East.

We are a family mental health care team. We offer specialized services for all ages, including extensive and specialized services, for children, teens, couples and families. We We work collaboratively as a team to offer the highest quality of care to our clients.

We provide services to families at all life stages - from beginning to date, move in/marry, start a family and/or separate and divorce.

As couples and family therapists we support our clients in moving through the difficulties they are facing and sometimes making difficult decisions about how to proceed.

**We are looking for an experienced family mediator to work with us, to support our care of our couples and families.**

As per the Ontario Association of Family Mediation we want to work to **'**promote creative and sustainable solutions to conflicts or challenges and encourage and empower individuals and families, from birth to end of life through self-determination.'

We meet as a team for group supervision every week, this is complimentary. This is attended by a range of junior and senior therapist, any of whom can bring their cases for input or advise. We also have senior therapists in the clinic who can provide specialized supervision as needed.

We are a teaching clinic and have Master's students interning in the clinic, this adds to the richness of the community, enlivens group supervision and provides senior therapists with the opportunity to get involved in teaching or supervision.

**We are currently seeking**:

- _**an experienced family mediator to join our team in Bolton**_

**Responsibilities**
- Provide mediation services to clients during a separation and divorce, including; child custody and access, child support, spousal support, and the division and equalization of property.
- Provide mediation services to clients addressing marriage & cohabitation terms of a prenuptial agreement, marriage contract or cohabitation agreement dealing with financial matters while living together, on death and on separation.
- Provide mediation services to clients to help with elder & intergenerational challenges, helping families to resolve disputes between parents and children by providing tools for communication, understanding and resolution.

**Requirements**:

- An Accredited Family Mediator
- Is looking for a 2 yr plus commitment to a clinic and community
- Wants to be actively involved in our clinic and community

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $90.00-$105.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 25 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
