**Position Background**:
The Field Labourer is essential to the execution of routine task. In a situation to observe and ask questions, this position is vital to the growth of the Projects Team and is an important step toward the employee’s career growth and therefore the enhancement of AltRoot’s field team.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Hook water hoses for sprinkler systems
- Maintain, repair, install, and service generators, light towers, and heating

equipment
- Pressure washing equipment’s
- Temperature probing compost and marking it down
- Assist with the routine maintenance and servicing of equipment in the field
- Use, clean, and maintain the different tools required at the worksite
- Hooking up water hoses for sprinkler systems

**Desired Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma
- Valid Drivers License, with clean Driver's Abstract
- Valid Safety tickets (H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSTS, CSO, or PST)
- Ability to work with power construction tools
- Oilfield/Industrial experience is an asset
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Deal with the public in a positive, courteous, and respectful manner
- Strong work ethic and organizational planning skills with attention to detail
- Be able to follow supervision
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Operation of some equipment is an asset but not mandatory

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Morinville, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)

Work Location: One location
