**Join Our Team as Volunteer and Homeowner Services Specialist**

This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact while using your skills in outreach, coordination, and process management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Homeowner Services**:_
- Prepare families for publicity and marketing (e.g., appearances, testimonials, photos)
- Coordinate with finance department with mortgage process
- Supply monthly progress reports

**Volunteer Services**:

- Support and train ReStore mangers as they recruit, provide orientation and retain volunteers
- Recruit, train and retain volunteers for the administration office and for events
- Assist with team day volunteers
- Maintain accurate scheduling and volunteer information in the database
- Explore and implement outreach opportunities to secure more volunteers

**Other Duties**:

- Additional program works as required to support programing within organization

**About You**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, event planning, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a volunteer coordination, social service or related role.
- Experience working with a custom database
- Ability to build strong relationships and connections within the community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a high attention to accuracy.
- Consistently demonstrates confidential, professional behaviour.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
