We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of inventory management.
**Position Overview**: As an Inventory Controller for Automotive Parts, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our inventory is accurately managed and efficiently controlled. You will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, managing inventory discrepancies, and collaborating with other departments to optimize inventory processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of automotive parts to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to improve efficiency.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports to support decision-making and forecasting.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and market demand.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding inventory storage and handling.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Inventory Controller or in a similar role, preferably within the automotive parts industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
