**Job Summary**
Sphinx Healing Services provides trauma-informed, culturally respectful care for high-risk Indigenous youth aged 0-18. We specialize in supporting youth impacted by addiction, ODD, FASD, PDD, and other complex needs. Our team is committed to creating safe, stable, and supportive environments that promote healing, cultural connection, and personal growth.

We are seeking a **Team Lead (CYSW)** to provide leadership, guidance, and frontline support to staff working directly with youth in our care. The Team Lead will ensure that daily operations run smoothly, staff are supported, and youth receive the highest quality of care in alignment with licensing requirements, organizational values, and trauma-informed practices.

**Duties**
- Provide on-site leadership, mentoring, and supervision to staff.
- Ensure all youth receive consistent, trauma-informed care in a safe and supportive environment.
- Support cultural programming, community outings, and life skills development for youth.
- Manage scheduling, reporting, and documentation requirements in compliance with Alberta licensing standards.
- Respond to incidents and assist staff with de-escalation strategies.
- Foster strong communication between staff, management, and external partners (e.g., Case Workers, Counsellors, School Staff etc...).
- Model professionalism, accountability, and respect in all interactions.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma/Degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience working with high-risk youth in group care or similar settings.
- Minimum 1-2 years previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, Indigenous cultural practices, and youth behavioral supports.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Current certifications: First Aid/CPR, Suicide Intervention (ASIST), Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), and other mandatory trainings as required by licensing.
- Clear Child Intervention Check and Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector).

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
