Sheraton Hamilton Starbucks is looking for someone to bring their vibrance and energy to the role As a Barista, you’ll assist with food and beverage operations to ensure superior service and standards whilst delivering a memorable customer experience. You’ll work with a team that promotes a positive and efficient team culture. You’ll ensure compliance with all health, safety, or other requirements.

**JOB SUMMARY**:
Under the supervision of the Store manager, the Barista will provide customer service and a quality work environment.

- The flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Ideally you will have experience in a Barista environment, minimum of 1 year.
- You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To provide friendly, efficient service.
- Prepare and arrange food that are attractive and appetizing to the guests
- Inspect food being served.
- Meet service standards.
- Inspect to ensure stock is adequate before beginning operation.
- Know what items are not available to guests.
- Replace and rotate stock correctly.
- Keep condiments stocked.
- Full knowledge of served items and methods of preparation as needed.
- Service and stocks items in a prompt and courteous manner and according to established service standards.
- To report any irregularities or comments from our guests to management.
- To consistently exceed guest expectations.
- To ensure surrounding staff are working safely.
- Attributes such as being polite, courteous, and working effectively in a team environment are a must.
- Other duties may be assigned by management

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in Canada.
- Ability to work variable hours such as early mornings, evenings, weekends and/ or holidays.
