Our Hosts/Hostesses are experts at several things: /pulliMaking our guests feel at home from the moment they walk in/liliHaving warm, friendly smiles/liliRespecting our customers/liliAbility to answer questions about our restaurant and the airport/li/ulpIf youre looking for a place where you will meet hundreds of new people daily and make them feel welcome, come check us out We have a unique work environment that youll only experience at SSP America/ph4brbHere are some things you can expect as a Host/Hostess: /b/h4ulliGreet all guests in a courteous and professional manner and escort them to their table/liliSeat guests and maintain organization and flow in restaurant (rotating tables assigned by server)/liliAssist guests with children and special needs, as required/liliPresent menus, answer questions and offer suggestions regarding food and service/liliInform servers and management of special needs and/or potential problems with guests/liliClear and reset counters or tables at conclusion of each course/liliEnsure complete guest satisfaction/liliThank guests for their patronage upon exiting the restaurant/li/ulh4brbSkills and Requirements: /b/h4ulliMaking our guests feel at home from the moment they walk in/liliHaving warm, friendly smiles/liliMinimum 6 months experience working in retail or food service environment/liliHigh school diploma preferred/liliVerbal and written communication/liliAbility to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders/liliExperience in dealing with problems involving customer service/liliBasic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, etc./liliFood handlers permit as required by law/li/ulp /ppemDiversity and Inclusion is a priority at SSP.
