- Retrieve and prepare products for shipping, ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, and documentation.
- Operate a sitting electric forklift, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely and efficiently move, stack, and retrieve products and pallets.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensuring stock rotation and minimizing shrinkage.
- Conduct regular warehouse maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and organizing.
- Collaborate with the front end team to improve overall operational efficiency, identifying opportunities for process enhancements or cost savings.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. *Warehouse Worker Required Skills*
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision are critical for receiving, storing, and shipping products to avoid errors and discrepancies.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and arrange products efficiently within the warehouse, ensuring easy access and effective inventory management.
- Physical Stamina: Warehouse work often involves heavy lifting, extended periods of standing, bending, and reaching, so physical fitness is essential. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Collaboration and effective communication with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Basic Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic math, such as counting, calculating quantities, and conducting inventory checks.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and commitment to following safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries. *Required Qualifications*
- Computer and typing skills, excel and our own POS inventory system
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Forklift certification is mandatory.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, such as data entry and using inventory management systems, is beneficial.
