**Gas Technician**:
Carmichael is looking for a skilled Gas technician with their Gas A license to join our Dartmouth branch and be part of our 100 years of success This is a service technician position working on a variety of combustion, heating and gas systems on a commercial/industrial scale.

**Responsibilities**:

- Boilers and Gas System diagnostics, troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Test combustion equipment and controls for issues
- Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using electrical and mechanical testing equipment
- Replace defective parts and reassemble repaired systems
- Observe and test system operation using gauges and test instruments and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and reliable system operations
- Estimate, order and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of repairs and replacements made and cause of malfunction

**Requirements**:

- Gas Tech A license is required
- Oil Burner license is an asset
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- HVAC qualifications considered an asset
- Client focus; dependable; reliable; flexible
