Paul Mara Jewellers is a family owned jewellery store with over 30 years of experience. We are located in the heart of downtown Victoria and have been producing quality jewellery for over 30 years. Well known for our engagement and wedding band selection, creative custom designs, we also provide jewellery repairs, insurance appraisals, jewellery restoration and redesigns as well as sourcing specific jewellery upon request.

**Job Opportunity**

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Engage with clients in finding the right piece of jewellery that our clients requires for their occasion.
- Assisting clients with the take in process of items brought in for repair or service.
- Prepare estimated (or support the preparation of estimated) for repairs
- Clean and polish jewellery as needed
- Follow all security policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Quality control of repairs, custom design orders.
- Receiving and directing telephone calls.
- Setting up and taking down jewellery store showcases
- Processing sales and orders.
- Assisting with maintaining social media presence

- **Works well with short deadlines and offers quick responses to clients needs.**:

- **Enjoys the atmosphere of a small business as if it were their own.**:

- **Must have at some jewellery sales and processing experience or equivalent relevant experience.**:

- **A team worker with a happy disposition who is open to learn and has a positive approach.**:

- **Comfortable with MAC based software**:

- **Previous Custom Jewellery Design would be an asset.**:

- **Social media and brand advertising would be considered an asset.**
