**About Us**:

The firm’s private investment arm manages a global, diversified portfolio of funds and sector-focused direct investments.

**The Opportunity**:
Wittington Investments is looking to strengthen and grow its investment team with the addition of an Associate, Fund Investments. Reporting to the Director, Fund Investments this investment professional will be part of a small, entrepreneurial investment team supporting external manager selection across public and private markets.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Identify and validate attractive investment strategies and individual opportunities that best align with Wittington’s investment strategy.
- Prepare and maintain complex financial and statistical models to support investment decision making and monitoring processes.
- Prepare initial drafts and finalize due diligence and investment recommendation memos, incorporating feedback from the relevant team members.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors and fund managers. Record and organize documentation relating to meetings with investment managers.
- Develop and keep abreast of industry developments, market research on relevant investment funds utilizing internal and external research tools.
- Special projects, as assigned.

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:

- University degree in Statistics, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field is required. CFA and/or CAIA designation (or working towards the designation) an asset.
- 2-5 years’ experience with a well-reputed asset manager, investment consultant or equivalent role.
- Broad knowledge of a wide variety of asset classes including private equity, private credit, public equities, fixed income and other alternative investments (including, but not limited to, hedge funds, real estate and infrastructure).
- Experience with external managers including the ability to evaluate manager skill and strength of investment strategy and to analyze performance in the context of risk. Ideally, this will include experience with risk management systems and analytical tools used in the manager selection and monitoring process.
- Excellent team player with project management capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills.
- Seeks continuous improvements and efficiencies in workflows.
- Highly organized and efficient, ability to work independently and manage both workload and deliverables.
- Excels in a fast pace, evolving environment that encourages innovative thinking and hard work.
