Nipro Canada is in search of an experienced Facilities Lead that can provide on-site direction, coordination and proactive maintenance solutions for our Lindsay, ON facility.

Essential functions
- Direct the maintenance and repair of the physical facility
- Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services, including roof, lawn maintenance, pest control, parking lot, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and environmental controls
- Work in cooperation with Quality dept on facilities cleaning
- Respond to maintenance and repair issues throughout the facility and look for opportunities for preventative maintenance
- Confirms to Health and Safety rules and regulations, including OHSA
- Assist with acquiring and assembling new furniture/equipment and dismantling/removal of old furniture/equipment
- Plan and manage a facility's projects according to allocated funding
- Facilitate hiring, training and supervision of third-party contractors
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects to modify commercial facilities

**Experience & Required Skills**
- Several years of supervisory experience in facility operations or maintenance
- Experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility would be an asset
- Ability to coordinate large scale projects to meet specific deadlines
- Excellent people skills for dealing with third party vendors and contractors
- Ability and initiative to communicate thoroughly with senior management
- Attention to detail
- Project Management skills/experience would be an asset
- Familiar with standard hand tools and ability to complete basic repairs and installations
- HVAC experience would be an asset
- Relevant post-secondary education would be an asset
