LOGISTICS COORDINATOR We have an awesome team and we are looking to add to it. We need a people with experience, but more than that we need someone that "fits" with our company. If you want more than just a job, if you want to learn and have a chance to grow within an organization, and finally actually enjoy your workplace, then let us know. **Responsibilities**: Receive orders; contact shippers, consignees, and clients to confirm shipment details; confirm timing, schedule pickups and/or delivery appointments. Contact carriers to obtain availability; negotiate rates and book freight using various resources such as internal lists, Load Link, and DAT’s. Participate/assist in the quoting process and follow up with clients on quotes. Trace progress of shipments daily, as required, and update clients and system accordingly. Once delivered, verify all bills and charges to process clients’ invoices. Enter/update information in the computer system to keep all load boards current and relevant. Escalate any complaints, service failures, claims, potential risks to Further or clients to the supervisor in a timely manner. **Qualifications**: Minimum of 3-5 year’s experience in over the road industry. A deep and strong knowledge of the transport carrier marketplace, carrier names, common lanes, pricing, and equipment types, etc. Experience in oversized and project cargo will be considered a great asset. Experience in a load brokerage environment is required. Strong client service and problem-solving skills; capable of thinking out of the box. Ability to handle difficult and possibly confrontational situations with poise and grace. Detail oriented, highly organized, proactive with a strong sense of urgency. Good communication skills in English and French. Ability to multi-task; capable of dealing with deadlines.
