**_ DataDrill is currently seeking a _**_Network Technician - Tier 1_**

To succeed, grow, and have fun within this company, the successful applicant will need the following **Basic Skills**:

- Organization and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and grow
- Flexibility with shift schedule (paid after-hours On Call shifts are part of the position)
- Ability to re-prioritize and multi-task as needed
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with respect and professionalism

Some additional** Technical Skills and Experience Requirements **are**:

- Networking diploma or a suitable combination of education and experience is an asset.
- Basic IT & Networking Knowledge
- Equal interest in Network Operations, hand-on equipment maintenance and customer support.
- Network+ or Cisco Certifications and experience with FortiNet and/or Starlink are great assets

The successful applicant for **Network Technician - Tier 1** will be expected to_:_
- Assemble, program and test various network devices such as routers and modems and switches.
- Monitor and maintain DD’s various satellite networks and provide reporting internally and externally
- Answer field staff and customer support calls in a professional and efficient manner.
- Be able to work any day of the week, anytime between 6am - 9pm weekdays & 7am - 7pm weekends
- 8-hour shifts are on a predictable rotating schedule
- Collaborate with other operational and support teams to ensure a premium service and experience for clients
