**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries, taking into account traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Handle freight as required, including operating heavy equipment or forklifts when necessary.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in commercial driving or courier services is preferred.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Experience with automotive repair can be beneficial for maintaining delivery vehicles.
- Previous experience handling freight will be considered an asset.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
