We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team and contribute to the success of this exciting venture.
Position Overview:
As a Cook in our butcher shop kitchen, you will play a key role in creating delicious and convenient heat and serve meals for our customers. You will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while working with fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from our butcher shop. This position offers a unique blend of traditional cooking and creativity, as you develop recipes and prepare meals that showcase our premium meat products.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare a variety of heat and serve meals, focusing on showcasing the quality of our butcher shop's meat products.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist management with monitoring inventory levels and recommend orders for necessary ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Provide exceptional customer service by offering cooking tips and suggestions to customers.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Cook in a similar setting is an asset.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
