**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate POS systems accurately for all transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers and assisting with inquiries
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and integrity
- Conduct product demos when applicable to promote featured items
- Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Assist with inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory checks
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Use effective communication skills to resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Support store operations by performing basic math calculations for transactions and balancing cash drawers at shift end

**Skills**
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Experience in retail sales, merchandising, and upselling techniques
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a diverse clientele
- Knowledge of grocery store operations is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries over the phone professionally
- Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership or training roles within the team
- Basic math skills for accurate cash register operation and transaction balancing
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$17.61 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
