**Qualifications / Duties**
- Post-secondary education in Electronic Engineering Technician or Technologist
- Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- English essential, French, an asset.
- Valid Driver’s license with full privileges.
- Must reside in Ottawa area with ability to reliably commute to our office.
- Periodic travel will be involved for continual manufacturer training (USA & Canada).
- Travel may be involved for operational requirements.
- Travel may be involved for court appearances.

**Technical**:

- Strong aptitude for troubleshooting electronic and electric circuits.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System or ISO 17025, an asset.
- Knowledge of Doppler Radar / Lidar or Alcohol Breath Testing, an asset.
- Instrumentation maintenance and calibration, an asset.
- A proven skill set that complements solid troubleshooting routines.
- Have experience using electronic test equipment.
- Be experienced and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
- Be able to read and understand electronic schematics, technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
- Fabrication of parts, cables, and test fixtures.
- Be familiar with the operations and safety of all tools and equipment used in the position.

**Other**
- Action assigned special tasks. Ascertain the priority of special tasks.
- Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Possess effective communication skills and can deal effectively with others.
- Position is predominantly bench work.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
