Installs and Service Manager

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will provide overall leadership and management to the cabinet installation function, ensuring a location’s objectives are met for safety, service, quality and cost.

What you can expect to be doing during the first 12-months on the job:
**Your first 90-days**:

- Spend significant time getting to know your critical partners in the leadership team that will be a substantial part of your success. The Sales and Marketing Manager, Project Coordinator and Shop Lead.
- Clearly understand how your team is functioning and how your team’s overall performance effectiveness is measured.
- Start identifying areas of efficiency and customer service improvements, understanding that you will be hitting the road running early on. If you have ever increased operational efficiencies that have added back to the bottom line before, you’re going to love this first assignment

**The next 9-months**:

- At this stage, you have significantly improved how your team functions with clear and objective results impacting Prestige’s bottom line.
- You know your customers’ needs well, and their satisfaction with your team’s performance is solid.
- You have built a team of Field service technicians who are not only technical experts but also engaged and passionate about what they do.

Assuming you like what, you’ve read so far, please make sure you are experienced and knowledgeable enough to perform the following critical tasks in your role:

- Lead and drive a safe cabinet installation and service operation on all work sites.
- Provides technical expertise to direct reports on safe installation methods and techniques and craftsman advice.
- Create safety awareness by actively observing, auditing, and coaching safe work behaviours and conditions.
- Provide day-to-day overall leadership and management to the Field service technicians and sub-contractors.
- Communicate with customers as needed to resolve problems.
- Hire, train, develop, and provide consistent feedback to team employees.
- Direct and coordinate various programs essential to operations procedures (e.g., training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, employee involvement etc.)

Do you have the following qualification to support the above?
- Highschool Certificate.
- Diploma or Trades certificate.
- A minimum of 6-years demonstrated successful experience in the Cabinet industry.
- A minimum of 3-years demonstrated successful experience as a leader in the field or cabinet shop.
- An expert understanding of contracts, plans, construction methods and regulations.
- Possess excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Spruce Grove, AB T7X 3R8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- Cabinet industry: 6 years (required)
- Leading a field service team: 3 years (required)
- understanding of contracts, plans, construction methods: 3 years (required)
- Microsoft Office: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English fluently (required)
