Job Summary: The Host/Hostess is responsible for warmly greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive at the restaurant, escorting them to their tables, and providing them with menus. The Host/Hostess also manages the waiting list, keeps the dining area organized and clean, and provides excellent customer service to ensure a memorable dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile as they enter the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage the waiting list, accurately estimating wait times, and notifying guests when their table is ready
- Maintain an organized and clean dining area, including managing reservations, setting tables, and ensuring that the restaurant is well-stocked with supplies
- Answer phone calls and take reservations in a polite and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns, questions, and needs promptly and with a positive attitude
- Collaborate with other front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure efficient restaurant operations

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
