**Job Overview**
Thundering Waters grounds crew plays a critical role in ensuring the course remains in good condition throughout the season. Under the direction of the Superintendent, you will be responsible for maintaining the golf course grounds, including fairways, greens, tee boxes, bunkers, and surrounding areas. You will work as part of a team to ensure the course is presented at the highest level for daily play and special events. This position requires physical labor, attention to detail, and a commitment to the quality of the course.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and repair golf course features, including greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers, ensuring high-quality playing conditions.
- Operate and maintain grounds equipment such as mowers, tractors, and aerators.
- Assist with the setup and takedown for events and tournaments, ensuring the course is prepared and presentable.
- Monitor turf health and assist with fertilizing, aerating, and watering.
- Handle seasonal tasks such as leaf collection, debris removal
- Collaborate with other team members to complete daily tasks efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain safety standards and adhere to environmental best practices.
- Perform repairs and general maintenance of the course, equipment, and facilities as needed.
- Assist with regular inspections of course hazards, signage, and other elements to ensure the course’s safety and appearance.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting golfers with course-related inquiries when needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in golf course maintenance or a similar outdoor, physical labor role preferred, but not required.
- Ability to operate and maintain various grounds maintenance equipment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of turf care practices, including mowing, watering, and fertilization.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff and guests.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $18.00-$21.75 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
