Join Treasury Board and Finance as a Recoveries Officer, where you’ll play a key role in recovering amounts owed to the provincial and federal governments, as well as individuals and organizations.
This position supports the financial integrity of government operations by ensuring outstanding debts are recovered efficiently and in accordance with legislation and policy, while also maximizing the recovery of funds for General Revenue Fund (GRF).
**What You’ll Do**:
As a Recoveries Officer, you will:
- Manage and prioritize recovery files across assigned programs using a case management system.
- Act as the primary contact for a wide range of stakeholders including debtors, employers, financial institutions, legal professionals,
- enforcement agencies, and government partners.- Conduct skip tracing, negotiate payment arrangements, prepare documentation, and initiate enforcement actions.
- Recommend and implement enforcement strategies when voluntary arrangements are not viable.
- Ensure assets are properly encumbered to secure debts owed to the Crown or other parties.
- Contribute to program planning and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with departmental priorities.**What You Bring**:
