**Role Description**
Position: Kitchen Prep & Store Helper (Part-Time)
Location: On-site at A-R Perogies, Saskatoon, SK S7M 2J1

The Kitchen Prep & Store Helper will assist with food preparation, basic cooking tasks, maintaining hygiene standards, handling inventory, and supporting in-store customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with food preparation (e.g., peeling and processing potatoes, ingredient prep)
- Support kitchen operations and basic cooking as needed
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards
- Help with packaging and stocking products
- Assist customers at the storefront
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties in the kitchen and store areas
- Assist with moving and lifting products (requires some physical strength)
- Follow instructions and complete other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications**
- Must be a Canadian Permanent Resident
- Basic food preparation and cooking skills
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices
- Fluent in English
- Ability to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
- Quick hands and efficient working style; able to maintain good pace during production
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Willing to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Positive attitude, cooperative and easy to get along with
- Punctual, reliable, and responsible
- Experience working in a kitchen or food production environment is an asset
- Food Safety Certification preferred
- Must be able to safely lift approx. 35kg pot, 3-4 times per day

**Compensation**
$15 - $17 per hour, based on experience

**Working Hours**
- Part-time: 2-3 days per week
- 5 to 8 hours per shift
- Flexible schedule — to be discussed during interview
