**Duties and responsibilities include**:
- Order management tasks, including the verification of order confirmations, invoices and packing lists, preparation of Purchase Order (PO) drafts and entering POs into the IMS
- Ensure PO past cancel dates are reported and cancelled monthly as required
- Identify and report vendor mis-shipments, late shipment of goods, pricing errors and description errors
- Back-office receiving of product into the IMS
- Report receiving summary packages to Accounts Payable
- Inventory correction and maintenance
- Execute allocation, stock rebalance, and seasonal-flip transfers
- Assist with preparation of Buying Summary reports
- Compile data for various routine and ad hoc reports
- Enter product markdowns
- Prepare and log documentation for credit requests
- Submit credit requests and arrange return of goods to vendor
- Maintain damage and non-damage credit logs
- File maintenance and other administrative tasks as required
- Manage vendor portfolios as assigned
- Additional reporting as assigned
- Organize physical product in warehouse as required
- Post secondary degree or diploma in a related field
- 1 - 3 years’ retail experience
- Retail merchandise buying experience is an asset
- Experience with integrated retail and point of sale software platforms an asset
- Excellent numerate and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, as well as ensure a high quality of work completed within an acceptable timeframe
- High attention to detail
- Strong understanding of the retail industry
