**What are we looking for?**
We are looking for a Painter Helper who will work on unique fixtures projects that involves high end custom cabinetry for a long-lasting functional and luxury experience in our clients’ spaces.
- Prep work including, but not limited to, washing, sanding and masking of cabinetry and some furniture.
- Mix, pour and spread materials
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants and support the shop.
- Opportunity to learn other skills for further advancement such as: Brush & Roll, paint spraying, patch and repair etc.
- Performing other related tasks as assigned
**Education and/or Experience**:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 - 2 years in general repairs or painting experience needed
**Required Skills and Abilities**:
- Good housekeeping and organizational skills
- Experience with hand tools such as scrapers, drivers, wrenches, sanders, and measuring tape
- Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task are key assets
**Working Conditions and Physical Abilities**:
- Work environment requires physical movement including walking, standing, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- General Paint Room / Spray Room conditions
- Frequently noisy working environment
- Fast-paced environment
