Acquafarina is the one of the newer high-end restaurants in Vancouver's culinary scene. Our team is made up of professionals who are hard-working, team orientated individuals. We are motivated & self driven to be the best.
We are looking for full time Prep Cooks to join our team. People who have worked in fine dining restaurants. What we're looking for is a positive & energetic attitude with a strong passion for food and attention to detail. We run a small team here, so we need someone who is reliable, punctual & is accountable for their own actions. Someone who cares about a team atmosphere & wants to grow. Even encourages others to grow as well. Our biggest asset is our people. Without them, we can not run a successful business. We want people who care If you feel like this is you, please apply. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Open availability is a huge asset
- Majority of the shifts are 7-3 or 8-4 pm *based on business needs
- Having experience with fine dining cooking, especially Italian/Mediterranean cuisine is a huge asset
- MUST be eligible to work in Canada (*if you live outside Canada please do not apply)
- MUST HAVE A VALID SIN # & Expiry Date (if applicable)
- Be a team player and function well under stress. (we help each other to grow here)
- Be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time & be able to lift up to 25lbs
- Have Food Safe Level 1 & or 2
- Have RELIABLE transportation to & from work
- BONUS: having a Red Seal or equivalent certification (*we pay more for this)
- BONUS: live close to downtown Vancouver.
