**SUMMARY OF POSITION**

Responsible for all preliminary work on incoming cases. Which includes

Pour impressions for removable and crown and bridge departments
- Mount cases
- Duplicate models
- Process with Probase
- Pouring impressions for removable and crown and bridge departments
- Cut dies

**PRIMARY SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Understanding of dental technology concepts, terminology and processes
- Dependable, responsible and willing to take on needed duties to fulfill the goals of the lab
- Able to follow specific instructions
- Working well under pressure
- A keen eye for detail
- Clean cases
- Ability to pour models without bubbles.
- Accepts and affects Leadership direction
- Routinely signs on and off work on time
- Mix stones with proper w/p ratio
- Mount cases accurately
- Requires supervision
- Monitors inventory stock and orders when needed
- Following the rules and policies in the handbook provided
- Monitoring equipment and filling out work orders for repairs.
- Employees must practice WSIB safe practices.
- Routinely clocks in and out on time and having timesheets sign accordingly and handed in on required day
- Punctuality and good attendance

**INTERMEDIATE SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Able to discern a good model and see is all items are in the work pan
- Know when to use the proper articulator
- Able to section dies
- Box and bead impressions
- Able to read and understand prescriptions
- Knows what each department requires for each model and product

**ADVANCED SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Demonstrated interest in technical upgrades such as courses, seminars, workshops, to further their skill set
- Can trim dies for all types of cases
- Preliminary QC capability
- Communicates ideas for case simplicity and success
- Understands and produces to IDL (Manager’s) standards
- Very mínimal supervision needed
- Able to process dentures
- Able to process with clearflex
- Give repairs and reline priority
- Can train others
- Knows all the materials
- Good task planning and time management skills
- Assessing implant cases and making soft tissue

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 39.75 per week
