We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Part-Time Loss Prevention Officers** to join our team in **Moncton, NB** for nightlife venues and private events.
**Position Overview**
As a** Part-Time Loss Prevention Officer**, you will be responsible for monitoring premises to prevent theft, ensuring the safety of staff and customers, and responding to any suspicious activity. Duties include conducting regular patrols, maintaining accurate incident reports, and working closely with management to enforce security policies.
**Key Responsibilities**- Control access by checking IDs and monitoring entrances/exits.- Maintain a professional and visible presence to deter unwanted behavior.- De-escalate conflicts and respond to disturbances quickly and discreetly.- Manage crowd flow inside and outside the venue, ensuring safety regulations are followed.- Collaborate with venue staff, teammates, and law enforcement when required.- Complete clear and accurate incident reports when necessary.
**Qualifications**- No prior security license required - ADMIRAL can assist with licensing.- Previous experience in nightlife or hospitality is an asset.
- Previous security or loss prevention experience preferred.- Strong communication and conflict management skills.- Professional, confident, and approachable demeanor.- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.- Valid NB driver’s license preferred.
- Valid security license with Baton and Handcuffs certification
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

**Description du poste**
En tant qu'**Agent de Prévention des Pertes à Temps Partiel**, vous serez responsable de la surveillance des locaux pour prévenir le vol, d'assurer la sécurité du personnel et des clients, et de répondre à toute activité suspecte. Les tâches comprennent la réalisation de patrouilles régulières, le maintien de rapports d'incidents précis, et le travail en étroite collaboration avec la direction pour faire respecter les politiques de sécurité.
**Responsabilités clés**- Contrôler l’accès (vérification des pièces d’identité, surveillance des entrées/sorties).- Maintenir une présence professionnelle et visible afin de prévenir les comportements indésirables.- Désamorcer les conflits et intervenir rapidement et discrètement en cas d’incident.- Gérer la circulation des foules à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur, en respectant les règles de sécurité.- Collaborer avec le personnel du lieu, les collègues de sécurité et, au besoin, les forces de l’ordre.- Rédiger des rapports clairs et précis en cas d’incident.
**Qualifications**- Aucune licence de sécurité requise - ADMIRAL peut vous accompagner dans le processus.- Expérience antérieure dans le milieu de la vie nocturne ou de l’hôtellerie est un atout.
- Expérience antérieure en sécurité ou en prévention des pertes est souhaitée- Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en gestion des conflits.- Présence professionnelle, confiante et accueillante.- Capacité à rester calme et professionnel dans des situations de haute pression..- Certification en premiers soins/RCR est un atout.- Permis de conduire valide au NB préférable.
- Licence de sécurité valide avec certification pour la matraque et les menottes.
- Solides compétences d'observation et de communication.
- Doit être flexible pour travailler le soir, les week-ends et les jours fériés si nécessaire.- Le bilinguisme (français/anglais) est un atout.
