Join our Laboratory Services team here at Humber River Health and help to delivery timely and accurate test results and improve patient outcomes.

Our Laboratory Services Department uses state of the art equipment, technology and processes to collect and test clinical specimens in order to obtain information about the health of our patients so that our inter-professional teams can diagnose, treat and prevent disease.

**Hourly Rate**: $32.59 - $37.26

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Phlebotomy, central processing and ECGs.
- Microbiology planting.
- Dispensing/Discarding duties for Histology department.
- Can be assigned /trained in other Laboratory Disciplines
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualfications**:

- Laboratory Assistant Technician Certificate.
- Medical Laboratory Professionals’ Association of Ontario (MLPAO) and/or Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS/SCSLM) certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in performing phlebotomy of adults, children and neonates.
- Experience in microbiology planting an asset.
- Experience in performing ECG’s an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work alone or in a team.- Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
