**Facility Maintenance Supervisor**

**You would**
- Serve as the primary contact for managing maintenance requests and dispatching services for tenants and branches.
- Oversee external contractors across the branch network, including onsite inspections and in-person follow-ups to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
- Manage service contracts for cleaning and other routine services, ensuring consistent delivery across all locations.
- Coordinate routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, snow removal, garbage disposal, and repairs to maintain safe, secure, and accessible facilities.
- Monitor construction and renovation projects, ensuring contractors adhere to specifications and providing project updates as needed.
- Conduct vendor research and manage bids for various projects, maintaining oversight of systems like HVAC, electrical, fire safety, janitorial services, groundskeeping, and more.
- Ensure proper maintenance and repairs of company-owned vehicles, including regular servicing and insurance compliance.
- Evaluate and recommend repairs or replacements for equipment, addressing both immediate and long-term maintenance needs.
- Support office setups, including ordering and setting up equipment and furniture as needed. Conduct regular facilities inspections and maintain detailed records of building conditions and mechanical systems.
- Prepare detailed property status reports for all locations on a scheduled basis.
- Manage facility security equipment and services, collaborating with internal teams and contractors to mitigate risks and maintain compliance with security policies.
- Assist in budget planning, contributing to property management operating and capital budgets, and supporting capital requests for branches.
- Build strong tenant relationships, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring adherence to lease agreements.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) standards and keep up with legislative updates.

**You have**
- A valid Nova Scotia Drivers License and ability to travel to multiple locations of the Credit Union across Nova Scotia.
- Successfully completed a college education with courses in building/property maintenance and repairs or a related discipline, and minimum of three years’ experience in a premises/building supervisory capacity

**You are**
- An excellent problem-solver quickly addressing maintenance and repair issues.
- An effective communicator for interacting with staff, tenants, and contractors.
- Able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced using Microsoft 365.
