We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our collaborative project on the development of recyclable electrically conductive polymer composites (CPC) for flexible sensors.

**YOUR ROLE**:
The objective of this research is to create recyclable CPCs using material extrusion-based additive manufacturing (MatEx AM), addressing the growing demand for flexible sensors in emerging fields like wearable devices, soft robotics, electronic skin, and healthcare monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct recycling experiments to evaluate the reusability of the materials without compromising their functional properties.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams from ÉTS, ensuring the integration of expertise in sensing technology, nanocomposites, and sustainable materials.
- Prepare reports, research papers, and presentations for conferences and meetings.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Qualifications**:

- Ph.D. in materials science, polymer engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in polymer composites, conductive materials, and/or additive manufacturing.
- Strong background in nanocomposites and extrusion processes is an asset.

Other skills
- Strong publication record in significant journals and conferences in polymer science and related fields.
- Fluency in spoken and written French (intermediate or advanced level) and English (intermediate or advanced level).
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Teams and SharePoint environment.
- Excellent adaptability, organization, analysis and synthesis skills.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary research environment.
- Rigorous follow-up and attention to detail.
- Creativity and initiative.
- Positive and collaborative attitude.

**Start Date and fellowship duration**:
This postdoctoral fellowship would start as soon as possible. A contract of 1 year will be offered. Following a performance review and available funds, this fellowship could be renewed for an additional year.
