**Description**:
New Roots Herbal is a leading national manufacturer and distributor of high-quality natural health products based near Montreal (Vaudreuil-Dorion). We are currently looking for a powder weighing clerk to join our powder/formula assembly team (manufacturing).

**Responsibilities**:

- Validate receipt of the correct raw materials (lot, quantity, etc.) to be weighed.
- Weigh each quantity of raw materials (powders) required for the various recipes.
- Read and fill the manufacturing/quality control documentation related to raw materials weighing.
- Clean the weighing equipment and work tools between each recipe.
- Assist in cleaning the weighing room when needed (walls, floor, ceiling).
- Assist the raw materials lift driver in preparing or storing raw materials in the warehouse.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and quality standards.
- Train new employees when needed.
- Report any anomalies.
- Help with all other tasks as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to work at a fast pace in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push and pull a cart, pick up and place bags of powder on pallets, and lift, move and place loads weighing between 10 and 25 kg (25 and 50 lb).
- Be meticulous, organized, precise with attention to detail.
- Mental arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
- Be versatile, able to work in a team and perform manual tasks.
- Ability to read and write French.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or food industry an asset.

**Education**:
Hold a high school diploma.

**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday: 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (40 hours / week) Training is during the day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Full-time permanent position In person position: 3405, F.X.Tessier, Vaudreuil-Dorion
