Central Cowichan Animal Hospital in Duncan, BC is looking to add to our already amazing team We are looking for an amazing Client Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant. The job will entail interacting with clients (on the phone and in person), admitting patients, taking payments, scheduling appointments, filling prescriptions, and as needed some assisting with animals and in the laboratory. This is an incredibly important job at a veterinary clinic, as the first face clients see in both happy and very emotional situations.

**Summary**

As a Client Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant, you will be essential in delivering outstanding care and support to our clients and their pets. Reporting to the clinic manager, your core skills in customer service and communication will be vital in managing client inquiries and appointments. Additionally, your relevant skills in animal handling and care will contribute to a compassionate and efficient environment, making a significant impact on the well-being of our patients and the satisfaction of our clients.

**Qualifications**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is definitely an asset.
- Laboratory experience would also be an asset.
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using veterinary software and managing client records.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
