Project Designer/Coordinator

**Description**:
Custom Ice Inc. is a Burlington based business that specializes in the engineering, design, manufacture and installation of refrigerated ice skating rinks.

We provide solutions for the private residential and commercial markets, from small private ice rinks, to municipal projects and full scale arenas. We have the ability to design any ice rink, virtually anywhere, including ice rink/splash pad combinations, skating paths, small sized training rinks and other custom designs.

Our products are enjoyed all over North America.
- **Custom Ice Inc.**_ is a Burlington based business that specializes in the design, manufacture and installation of refrigerated ice skating rinks. We are currently recruiting a full time **Project Designer and Coordinator**to support our growing team.

**Job Summary**

Starting Salary - $60-$90,000 Commensurate with knowledge & experience

Fulltime hours

Designing prefabricated ice rink systems from customer order through site layout to material fabrication and installation including customer scheduling and shipping co-ordination. You are a professional, well organized self
- starter able to work on a wide range of activities including CADD design, material selection and scheduling for product installations. You will be required to travel locally in Ontario, as well as some travel in Canada and the USA.

**ADDITIONAL DUTIES**:

- CADD design work including layouts piping materials
- Bill of Materials for prefabricated ice rink projects
- Equipment design and selection
- Project Coordination with customers and dealer network

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION**:

- Engineering diploma or with degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience with refrigeration system and hydronic system design would be an asset
- Strong computer skills
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Auto CADD, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Proven ability to multitask, with well
- developed time management and analytical skills
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Decision making (fast-paced, deadline driven environment, quick thinker that can handle pressure & changing priorities)
- Self-starter, confidence, positive attitude
- Ability to travel within Canada and USA
- Valid driver’s license and current driver’s abstract required

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
