Prairie North Const. Ltd. is a heavy civil construction company with over 25 years in the road construction industry. We are currently looking for a parts runner/ shop labourer to join our team.

**Details**:
M-F work week, with the option to work extra when required.

**Duties include**:

- Reliable safe driving to suppliers to pick up parts orders
- Load securement of part deliveries
- Off-loading large deliveries at our shop
- Occasional pilot truck driving for oversized loads
- Keeping a clean work area
- Misc. shop duties, including but not limited to organizing sea cans, maintaining a clean work area, assisting mechanics with minor tasks
- Perform other related duties as required
- Experience working around heavy equipment is considered an asset.
- Experience driving with a trailer is considered an asset

**Qualifications**:

- Possess 5+ years driving experience.
- Clean drivers abstract, No demerits, Non GDL
- Ability to work as a team and take direction from supervisors
- Familiarity with Edmonton and area

Required PPE
- CSA approved steel toe work boots

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Acheson, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
