**Job Summary**
We are looking for a motivated and resourceful person to help out the Technical Department’s dynamic team at our Vancouver branch. As a Bench Service Technician, you will have to make the necessary repairs on a variety of dental appliances and other related products. You will have to learn and follow the manufacturers' repair instructions.

**Major Duties**:

- Obtain the necessary approvals from the customer by submitting a repair cost assessment.
- Repair, gauge, modify and update defective equipment in accordance with manufacturer's technical specifications.
- Meet deadlines according to established standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and testing results.
- Manage loaner fleet (repair and availability).
- Have a sound understanding of equipment operation to be able to provide the necessary support to customers on usage and maintenance.
- Be a reference source for other technicians.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Job qualifications**:

- Electronics diploma or any other relevant experience.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- 2-3 years of repair work experience.
- Strong organizational skills, sound judgment and excellent decision-making abilities.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Knowledge of the dental or medical industry is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
