**Qualifications**

2 years’ minimum experience as R.E.C.E - ideally with 5+ years with some supervisory experience; must possess strong Behaviour Management skills

Experience planning and implementing a play-based, Emergent Curriculum

Knowledge of Pictorial documentation, able to photograph, print and display classroom experiences. Thorough knowledge of the CCEYA, How Does Learning Happen?

Current Clear Police Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector and up-to-date Immunizations. Valid Standard First Aid and Infant/Child CPR-C certification. Strong interpersonal and English communication skills (both verbal and written)

Hold a Registered Early Childhood Education Diploma from an accredited institution or it's equivalent. Must have proof of current registration with the College of Registered Early Childhood Education and be a member in good standing

**Specific Duties**:

- He/she is creative, joyful, energetic, a go-getter and has an entrepreneurial streak.
- This position requires time managing the paperwork, employees, parents issues and enrolment.
- You would be managing:

- enrolment
- parent concerns
- programming
- staff scheduling
- enforcing policies
- licensing requirements

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**: **Early Childhood Education Diploma**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and initiative
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
- CPR & First Aid
- Police Reference Check & Vulnerable Sector
- Park and Recreational Experience
- Minimum 2, preferred 5 years of experience in a licensed center
- Previous management or leadership experience is an asset

**SUMMARY OF THE POSITION**

The Program Staff must have a high degree of emotional and physical stamina, a high level of empathy, maturity, patience, objectivity and have the capacity to form meaningful relationships with children, their families, staff and volunteers.

**Compensation**: commensurate with experience, and annual BONUS available in addition
