Description

Design, install and maintain telecommunications systems (networking, servers, virtualization, wireless).
Identify client needs for new business opportunities or ongoing projects.
Define the scope of projects and proposals.
Serve as a technical reference on the team.
Prepare blog articles, technical papers or other documents to promote the firm.
Provide leadership when preparing technical and commercial proposals.
Prepare technical reports and recommendations.
Serve as an ambassador for the team to other departments.
Lead and coordinate technical teams to ensure project success.
Develop and maintain lasting relationships with clients while meeting their high expectations.
Use your professional network to generate business opportunities.
Promote BBA services to potential clients.
Based on your interests, you may be called upon to take on the following roles: System or Network Administrator, System Architect, Project Leader or Project Manager or Client Account Manager

**Requirements**:
College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in networking, systems administration, telecommunications or any combination of education and experience relevant to the position
At least five years of relevant experience
Relevant experience in configuring, deploying and operating various telecommunications systems (wireless IP network, wired IP networks, CCTV, etc.)
Experience with troubleshooting, commissioning and implementing telecommunications systems

Assets

A good network of contacts in industry, mining and energy
Practical experience in communication system design (design criteria, network architecture, IT and networking infrastructure, equipment selection, etc.)
Experience in cost estimation and in preparing and presenting proposals
Experience in designing and deploying networks in accordance with industry best practices in cybersecurity (IEC 62443)
Experience in a consulting engineering environment
Experience in designing and deploying industrial production networks
