Forma Steel manufactures steel roofing, siding, trim, and custom panels in a variety of gauges, colors, and finishes for every structure you can imagine. We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, Alberta, approximately 25 minutes West of Lethbridge, in an enclosed plant that is open all year. With over 30 years of experience, you can expect to join an established company that offers numerous prospects.

We are currently looking to hire the following position to add to our Outside Sales Team

**Role**:Outside Sales Representative

**Job Type**: Full-time Permanent

**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday

Reporting to the Outside Sales Manager, this role will be instrumental in developing customer relationships and acquiring further market share

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and foster relationships with current customers ensuring the customer’s needs are being met.
- Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within the client base.
- Emphasize product features and benefits, prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales reports.
- Build a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
- Create and analyze data including sales call reports and other documentation.
- Assist in creating request for proposal (RFP) responses to potential clients.
- Represent company and perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products at professional shows and trade exhibitions.
- Assess and advise on current and projected market conditions

**Key Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated working knowledge of sales and customer relationships
- Understanding of a B2B sales model and dealer network
- Prior outside sales experience, bonus points if experience is within construction industry
- Ability to conduct presentations, attend trade shows, and discuss products with customers
- Proficient with sales software and business software (example Microsoft Office)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract and be able to travel regularly

**Working Conditions**:

- Frequent travel is required, often up to several hours of driving per day.
