**Work Inside A Temperature Controlled Factory**

**Responsibilities**

The main focus of this role is driving a larger G class vehicle to transport materials from the warehouse to clients. When there are no items to be transported, you will perform duties in the warehouse including but not limited to:

- Assist in making cabinet, wall or truss
- Prepare and assist shipping and receiving
- Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
- Check and weigh materials and products
- Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
- Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
- Clean work areas and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines at all times
- Ensure regulated and proper earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes and clothing are worn
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- G class license for a minimum of 3 years
- Clean drivers abstract
- Experience driving box trucks considered an asset
- Experience as a general labourer considered an asset
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Hope, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
