Excavator Operator

- **Excavator Operator - (Heavy Equipment Operator)**_
- coal mine experience, needed immediately in **Chetwynd** and **Tumbler Ridge, BC area.**

**SHIFT DETAILS**
- 12-hour shifts _(7 on / 7 off - Alternating Days and Nights)_
- Transportation bus from Tumbler Ridge and Chetwynd to mine site is provided.

**Qualification & Requirements**
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience operating excavator safely in an open pit mining or quarry environment is a prerequisite.
- Recent working experience in similar roles within mining industry and experience in hard rock preferred.
- Experience operating Hitachi EX 870 or EX 850, or Cat 385 or 390 or 6015B or similar equipment. The similarity will be determined by Conuma Coal.
- Apprenticeship, trade, or vocational diploma /certificate preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to perform physical labor.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn.

**Salary**: $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
