Our family oriented office in Kelowna is looking for a fulltime experienced lead receptionist to join our team We are looking for someone who has previous dental knowledge and training. Also is motivated, enthusiastic, able to multitask and who is looking to join a fun team. We work in a well established, private practice setting under one dentist, Dr Brent Corlazzoli.

**Duties include but not limited to**:

- Comfortable answering phones, booking appointments, coordinating with and billing to insurance providers, verifying methods of payment, collections and general office duties
- Experience with sending pre authorizations and making complex treatment plans.
- Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
- Able to handle accounts receivables, payables, month and day end, and payroll.
- Strong knowledge of ins and outs of insurance policies (assignment and non-assignment)
- Our office uses Dentrix, RecallMax, Microsoft and Cadi (training on all can be arranged)
- Participate in leading, coaching and motivating the team to improve productivity, engagement and retention of patients
- Build and execute plans to improve daily operations of the practice ensuring maximum productivity, operational excellence and develop strategies to increase organic patient growth.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kelowna, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
