**About the role**:
The Supply Chain team is seeking a Procurement Lead that will plan, implement, and monitor the overall supply chain strategy, leveraging the team of Supply Chain Specialists. The role will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Product Research, Finance, and Logistics in ensuring delivery of our product. The role will collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to develop performance metrics, drive continuous improvement, and lead process and improvements that align with both internal and external stakeholders.

**What you will be working on**:

- Provide leadership support in the field of Operational Excellence for critical external manufacturing partners in delivering overall quality, and service.
- Responsible for the ordering of packaging materials such as boxes and labels ensuring target levels of inventory are met.
- Support KPI activities while holding internal and external partners accountable for achieving established performance targets. Influence contract manufacturer’s initiatives around continuous improvement.
- Act as point of contact for Procurement and internal/external stakeholders for supplier governance and vendor management.
- Evolve and maintain standard operating procedures for processes and systems. Provide recommendations for operational improvements.
- Maintain, develop and deliver supervisor training courses to ensure existing and new supervisors have required soft skills, people process knowledge and compliance training

**What are we looking for?**
- Undergraduate degree or College diploma; specialization in supply chain is an asset.
- 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, procurement, purchasing and/or supply chain analytics.
- 5-7 years of experience working with a corporate ERP system.
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Visio
- Experience in Automotive or other Manufacturing environments an asset
- Experience in managing overseas supply bases (specifically, but not limited to, Asia)
- Ability to freely express thoughts, bring forth ideas and contribute to the growth of the company.
- Demonstrated success at using supply chain experience to drive business change.
- Demonstrated capability to build relationships and work effectively across all business functional areas.
- Adaptive personality that works well in a dynamic and evolving environment
