Grocery Representative and Delivery Driver

We are looking for a Grocery Representative and Delivery Driver to join us who is just as dedicated as we are in providing exceptional customer service and shares our passion. Some of the responsibilities of the role are, but not limited to: - Safe and responsible operation of company delivery van - Daily transport of merchandise between Langley and Surrey stores - Customer deliveries within 15km radius of both Langley and Surrey stores - Assist store with receiving, merchandising and cashier duties as needed - Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm welcome the moment they enter the store - Educate and inform customers on discounts, store promotions, product features and after-sale services - Handle customer inquiries and requests in a prompt, polite and efficient manner - Operate cash register and bag groceries - Control inventory, informing Supervisor in case of low inventory levels - Discard all expired items inline with the store’s policy - Efficiently stock, rotate and display product in a neat, organized and appealing manner - Take all opportunities to cross-sell products, driving sales were appropriate - Manage returns of merchandise, with Supervisor approval - Coordinate with the Grocery Representative team to provide exceptional customer service, taking every opportunity to go above and beyond the customer’s expectations - Stay up to date and knowledgeable on all new products and services offered - Comply with Occupational Health and Safety, food safety, and other regulatory requirements and procedures What we are looking for: - Full class 5 licence (no "N" drivers) - Clean driver's abstract (must provide copy) - Previous grocery/produce experience required - Exceptional relationship building skills - A good listener who is driven to educate others - Passion for customer service What we can offer you: - Competitive compensation - Opportunities for professional and personal growth - A supportive and tight-knit work environment - Employee store discount **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $17.85 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company car - Discounted or free food - On-site parking - Paid time off - Store discount Work Location: In person
