Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with customs classification and rating of imported goods
- Learn to interpret tariffs, trade regulations, and customs requirements
- Support senior raters and brokerage staff with documentation and data entry
- Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and related import documents
- Communicate internally to ensure accurate and timely customs filings
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with customs regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Interest in a career in customs brokerage, logistics, or international trade
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills and comfort working with data and documents
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in an in-office, team-oriented environment

Preferred (but Not Required)
- Coursework or background in logistics, supply chain, international business, or trade
- Experience in an office or administrative role

Description du poste

Responsabilités principales
- Assister à la classification tarifaire et à l’évaluation des marchandises importées
- Apprendre à interpréter le Tarif des douanes, les règlements et les accords commerciaux
- Soutenir les agents seniors dans les opérations quotidiennes
- Examiner les factures commerciales, listes de colisage et documents d’importation
- Effectuer de la saisie de données et assurer l’exactitude des dossiers
- Collaborer avec l’équipe afin d’assurer des déclarations douanières exactes et conformes

Profil recherché
- Intérêt marqué pour une carrière en courtage en douane, logistique ou commerce international
- Grande attention aux détails et volonté d’apprendre
- Aisance avec les outils informatiques et le travail de bureau
- Bon sens de l’organisation et gestion efficace du temps
- Bonnes compétences en communication écrite et orale
- Capacité à travailler en équipe dans un environnement de bureau

Atouts (non obligatoires)
- Formation ou études en logistique, chaîne d’approvisionnement ou commerce international
- Expérience administrative ou de bureau
