In the position of Product & Application Specialist - Service, you will:
- Delight your customers through superior customer experience.
- Frequent communication with customers, partners, supply units and colleagues in Canada and internationally.
- Manage the lead to order process, from the lead qualification, product selection, preparation of offers - estimates, quotes, and proposals
- Elaborate and follow up offers for the assigned area of according to the customer demands and needs
- Support the customer, partners and colleagues solving queries, support for claims and respond to all requests.
- Manage your opportunity pipeline in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to ensure a superior customer experience and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Working with colleagues across the Alfa Laval group, supply units and distribution centers and other sub suppliers to ensure timely support.
- Ensure that all activities follow the processes and check points of our Quality Business System.
Education (degree or years) and/or Certification/Registration:
- Engineering degree or at least 5 years of practical experience in a technical role in an Industrial B2B working environment.
Type and Length of Experience:
- 5 years’ experience of technical and customer service work in various industrial markets.
- Familiarity with process equipment - experience with separation, heat transfer or fluid handling equipment would be an asset.
- You are proficient to read drawings, technical information and data sheets.
- You have experience reviewing complex customer requirements, contract requirements and commercial terms/conditions.
- You are an effective problem solver, a self-starter, detail oriented, service minded and are equally comfortable working independently or within a team.
- You must demonstrate excellence in verbal and written communication, can juggle multiple priorities, and are well-organized.
You are proficient in the use of computers; experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM systems is a definite asset.
