Pharmacy Assistant

Duties and responsibilities of a Pharmacy Assistant at Val Est Pharmacy include but are not limited to:

- Provide prompt, accurate and friendly service to customers at the reception counter, the check out counter and throughout the pharmacy
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Be reliable, trustworthy and efficient in completing assigned tasks.
- Understand and adhere to all store policies and procedures.
- Assist the Pharmacist in the preparation of all prescriptions.
- Efficient and timely operation of the reception counter, cash register and packing of the customers’ purchases.
- Answer all incoming calls and forward them to the appropriate personnel.
- To maintain a neat and tidy appearance of check out and reception area.
- Inventory control of pharmaceutical sections.
- Pricing of all pharmaceuticals and OTC’s in the dispensary area.
- Housekeeping in the Dispensary area.
- Assist customers in locating products.
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday Days, Evenings and Weekends may occasionally be required.
- Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 8:30 Am - 8:00 Pm, Saturday 9:30 Am - 5:30 Pm, Sundays 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm
