As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a valid X-ray certification, and experience in a dental setting is highly desirable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures, ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and availability of necessary dental instruments and supplies.
- Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures, making them feel comfortable and at ease.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Perform dental charting, record patient information, and maintain accurate dental records.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
- Assist in providing chairside support, including handing instruments to the dentist, suctioning, and retracting tissues.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, handling patient inquiries, and filing patient documents.

**Requirements**:

- Valid X-ray certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.
- Familiarity with dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and the ability to lift and position patients comfortably.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed.

**Salary**: The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

**Salary**: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
