Hillside Pines - Casual Support Services (Dietary Services, Laundry, Housekeeping)
The position would be in Casual Support Services which includes either Dietary Services, Laundry, or Housekeeping. Cross training available.
Hillside Pines is an Eden Registered long term care facility on the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia. Located in the heart of Bridgewater, Hillside Pines offers an opportunity for a great work/life balance. **Qualifications include**: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Willing to learn and work independently when trained. - Physically able to perform assigned duties. - Ability to work in harmony, as a team with co-workers. - Ability to relate well to seniors, sensitive to their emotional, physical and spiritual needs. - Must have up to date WHMIS certificate or willing to obtain. - Food Service, Laundry, or Housekeeping services experience preferred. - Experience in a long-term care setting preferred. - Knowledge of the Eden Alternative Philosophy and person-centered care preferred. - Physically able to work 8 and or 12 hours shifts.
