**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate and drive trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Operate heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading tasks.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus.
- Background in automotive repair can be beneficial for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to transportation and freight handling.
